please start being normal about the plants. i am so tired of seeing people making nsfw of literal Plant Creatures. these things do NOT pass the Harkness Test, and they just generally seem to be coded as children, ESPECIALLY in the comics. if there's ANYTHING you're gonna be weird about, just make it Crazy Dave... also dni if you ship him with any of the plants. those are his kids man, that's weird.

If I take this post serious, and as somebody who has played the original game, the team of developers (PopCap Games) have not coded those plants as children. Musical number aside, those plants get _chewed_to_death_ by the zombies on a regular basis. Regardless of how good you are as a player, casualties are unavoidable. There are also plants that effectively operate guns and plants that blow themselves up... "for the cause..."
I am unable to interpret these as the actions of 'children as we want to portray them in a gam that's available to actual children' and I strongly doubt that one of the themes 'PopCap Games' had in mind was 'child soldiers'.
